Terms of Use

Magic Mate is a tool for Twitch streamers that turns live Twitch data into recommendations, a weekly stream plan, collaboration matches, and trackable links. In these terms, "Magic Mate", "we", "us", and "our" refer to the service and its operators, and "you" refers to the streamer using it.

By signing in and using Magic Mate, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the service. If you use Magic Mate on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you're authorised to accept these terms for it.

Magic Mate uses Twitch to sign you in. You need a Twitch account in good standing, and you must comply with Twitch's own Terms of Service and Community Guidelines while using Magic Mate. When you connect, you grant Magic Mate the specific Twitch permissions shown during sign-in, so we can read the channel data we need and, when you ask, manage your Twitch schedule.

• Your responsibility. You're responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your Twitch access secure. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been misused.
• Revoking access. You can disconnect Magic Mate at any time from your Twitch connection settings or by deleting your Magic Mate account. Doing so stops future data access.

Magic Mate's recommendations, best times, opportunity scores, and plans are estimates built from live Twitch data and modelling. They're guidance to help you decide, not guarantees of viewers, followers, growth, or income. You stay in control of what and when you stream.

Some data comes from Twitch and other third parties. We work to keep it accurate and current, but we can't guarantee it's complete or error-free, and Twitch may change or limit what its API provides at any time.

So Magic Mate stays useful and safe for everyone, you agree not to:

• break the law or infringe anyone's rights while using the service;
• misuse the collaboration features, for example to harass, spam, or contact other streamers against their wishes;
• attempt to access accounts, data, or systems that aren't yours;
• probe, scrape, overload, reverse-engineer, or otherwise interfere with the service or its infrastructure;
• use trackable links to disguise malware, phishing, or other harmful or deceptive content.

We may suspend or end access that breaks these rules or puts the service or its users at risk.

Magic Mate can suggest other streamers to team up with and help you reach out, including by sharing a Discord handle you choose to link. Any contact you make is between you and the other streamer. Be respectful, follow each platform's rules, and don't share another person's details beyond what they've made available for this purpose.

• Your content. The channel data, links, schedule, and other content tied to your account remain yours. You grant us the permission we need to host and process that content to run the service for you.
• Our service. Magic Mate, including its software, design, mascots, and branding, belongs to us and our licensors. We grant you a personal, non-transferable right to use it while these terms are in effect. Twitch, Discord, and game names belong to their respective owners.

Magic Mate is evolving. We may add, change, or remove features, and we may set or adjust usage limits. If we plan a change that materially reduces the core service, we'll aim to give reasonable notice where we can.

You can stop using Magic Mate and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms, if required by law, or if continuing would create a real risk to the service or its users. When your account ends, we handle your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

Magic Mate is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the fullest extent the law allows. We don't warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that its recommendations will produce any particular result.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Magic Mate won't be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses, or for lost viewers, followers, revenue, or data, arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.

We may update these terms as the service changes. When we make material changes, we'll update the date at the top and, where appropriate, let you know in the app. Continuing to use Magic Mate after a change means you accept the updated terms.
