Streamer opt-out

Magic Mate helps small Twitch streamers back each other up. A streamer using it can do three things to another channel, and Twitch performs every one:

• Write in your chat. A message they typed themselves, posted under their own Twitch name while you're live. Only Magic Mate members can be written to this way.
• Shout you out. Twitch's own shoutout feature, showing your channel to their viewers during their stream.
• Raid you. Twitch's own raid feature, sending their viewers to your channel when they finish.

Nothing else. Magic Mate never follows, subscribes or watches on anyone's behalf, and never pays anyone to.

Opting out stops all three at once, and takes your channel out of the lists the app suggests. You can undo it whenever you like.

Email support@magicmate.stream from an address tied to your channel, telling us the channel name. We handle these by hand within a few days and confirm once it's done.

The same address works if you want to know what the app has ever sent your channel. We keep the fact and the time of each message, never its text.
